Where we are gathered to celebrate God’s love for us revealed in Jesus!
Third Sunday in Lent March 23, 2025
As we gather for worship this Sunday
All of us have our own typical faults. We fail, and sin, in ways that trip us up again and again. My weaknesses are not yours, nor yours mine. But we both have them! And the Lord knows this. Our readings this week make it clear that He calls us all to repent of our sins. But they also stress His gracious forgiveness. He knows our weakness, and is always ready to spare us… heal us… help us… set us free.
Readings: Ezekiel 33:7-20 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 Luke 13:1-9
Music: Great Is Thy Faithfulness O Blessed Spring In the Bread, In the Wine Renew Me, O Eternal Light Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Sunday morning Bible Studies
Continue this week—9:00 to 9:45 AM in the Gathering Room. This week we will finish reading Psalm 18. You do not need to study it ahead of time, but doing so will give you a running start on the discussion.
Midweek Lenten Services continue each Wednesday at 7:00 PM. The theme is “Words That Last Forever”—the 7 final things Jesus said on the cross. This week’s word is FORSAKEN. The series continues into Holy Week (Maundy Thursday, April 17; Good Friday, April 18, and Easter Sunday, April 20).
Starting next week
A “Faith and Family” Bible study series that will help us talk about our faith within our households and extended families, whether or not they share our convictions. Three sessions will be held, on Thursday mornings from 10:00 – 11:00 AM—on March 27, April 3, and April 10. Please pray that these discussions will create openings for growth—in ourselves and among those we love.
