Where we are gathered to celebrate God’s love for us revealed in Jesus!
The Fourth Second Sunday after Epiphany February 2, 2025
As we gather for worship this Sunday
Wouldn’t you like to live in an “easier” time in history? True, many people have lived through harder times than these. Their courage and endurance inspire us. But still we face a great many troubles. As Martin Luther said, “The devil has become neither pious nor devout this year, nor will he ever do so.” But: Whatever troubles we face, we have the great treasure and resource of God’s Word to direct, advise, comfort, and help us. He continues to speak in our day also. The challenge is: Are we listening?

Sunday morning Bible Studies
Sunday morning Bible studies continue this week—9:00 to 9:45 AM in the Gathering Room. Again this week we will be reading Psalm 51 and its background material in 2 Samuel 11 and 12. You do not need to read this material ahead of time, but doing so will give you a running start on the discussion.
